MyLegalCoach is built privacy-first: the app works without an account, and your
documents stay on your device.
Nothing is collected automatically. The app does not require registration.
You can use MyLegalCoach without providing any personal information.
Information you choose to enter — your name, email, country, agreement
details, contract text you submit for analysis, and evidence items (photos,
files, notes) — is stored locally on your device only. We do not have
access to it and it is not transmitted to our servers, with one exception below.
When you run a Contract Health Check, the contract text you submit is sent to
our analysis service (which uses Anthropic's Claude AI) solely to generate your
risk report. The text is processed transiently to produce the analysis and is
not used to train AI models. Do not submit documents you are not authorized to
share.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see
your card details. Payment data is handled under Apple's and Google's privacy
policies.
Because your data lives on your device, you control it completely:
MyLegalCoach is intended for users 18 years and older.
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information.
Since data is stored on your device, you can exercise these rights directly in
the app. For questions or complaints, contact us at the address above. You may
also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) or the
Information and Data Protection Commission (Botswana).
We will post any changes to this policy here and update the effective date.
Material changes will be announced in the app.
